Nine down, three to go.

But first, finally, a little bit of a break before its next game.

Last week, Eastern Michigan was the only team in the nation to play its ninth straight game with no bye week after it started the season on an abnormal Week 0. EMU fell 24-20 at Ohio last week, and now has two losses in MAC play, putting it behind five others in the 13-team league standings.

There are no more Saturday games for EMU (4-5, 3-2 MAC) to play in the regular season, and it’s going to take a lot of help before it becomes part of the MAC title race conversation.

It can help itself next week with a midweek rivalry battle against Central Michigan (3-5, 1-3 MAC) at the venue for the MAC title game — Ford Field in Detroit.

EMU’s public depth chart was released today in the team notes to begin the upcoming game week. Those updates are reflected below, and I’ve got some of my notes to pair.
